IMPORTANT: It is only necessary to apply to one of the Universities, either to the University of Salamanca or to the University of Valladolid.

DOCUMENTATION FOR SPANISH DEGREE HOLDERS, INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS WITH OFFICIAL DEGREE RECOGNITION FROM THE SPANISH MINISTRY OF EDUCATION (HOMOLOGACION), DEGREE HOLDERS PERTAINING TO THE EUROPEAN SYSTEM OF HIGHER EDUCATION:  

Legalized copy of National or European ID or Passport.
Legalized copy of degree that permits access to master’s studies or proof of request, or confirmation of Degree Recognition from the Spanish Ministry of Education (homologación), if Degree Recognition has been completed and approved.
Legalized Copy of academic transcripts that indicate student grade point average, name of courses, duration, number of credits. (For University of Valladolid graduates, a transcript that can be obtained in “consulta de expedientes” that is available on the University website is sufficient).
Curriculum vitae.

Students holding degrees from outside the EUROPEAN SYSTEM OF HIGHER EDUCATION (EEES), need to apply for the Official Recognition of their degree.

English Language Level

Undergraduates of English Studies or Translation (with English as primary language) are not required to take a language test if the average grade of completed English courses is at least “Notable”. No testing is necessary if the applicant is able to provide documentation of their language level (i.e. Escuela Oficial de Idiomas, TOEFL, Cambridge Certificate, Proficiency, TOIC, etc.).

Students who cannot provide language level certification must complete an interview and will be asked to write an admission essay in English.

Outside EEES Degree Holders at the University of Valladolid

DOCUMENTAION FOR DEGREE HOLDERS OUTSIDE OF THE EUROPEAN SYSTEM OF HIGHER EDUCATION:  

Degree Recognition Application Form
Legalized copy of Passport or European ID
Legalized copy of university degree
Legalized Copy of academic transcripts that indicate student grade point average, name of courses, duration, and number of credits.
Certificate from the degree granting university (legally translated into Spanish) specifying that the degree enables the student to pursue a master’s degree in the country of origin.

Specific documentation required by the Master’s program the student is applying to
Once all documentation has been submitted and reviewed, the Post-graduate Section may ask for additional documentation deemed appropriate.

At the time of registration, all documents must be legalized and certified, and if necessary, officially translated into Spanish.

Admittance Requirements and Criteria

If there are more than 25 applicants to the program in Salamanca, or more than 20 in Valladolid, the candidates will be selected according to this criteria:
